Deaf Harvest International,
Inc. is
coordinating with several groups to ship supplies to mission fields that
are serving the Deaf. If you have items that you think might
be useful to your missionaries, please e-mail us. We will
get these items to them. PARTICIPATE IN MISSIONS FREE!! SAMPLE SIZED ITEMS Hotel housekeeping services put out sample size personal care items on the bathroom vanities nightly. When you and your family are vacationing or on business trips, you can participate in missions FREE by saving these items. Get your church group to set up a collection box for these items. We will ship these items to orphanages and schools for the Deaf around the world. With constant collection of these products, these schools serving the Deaf should never be without personal care items. If you are in the Atlanta area and your church group or organization is collecting personal care items such as sample sized shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion, please contact us and a representative will pick up the items for you and ship them directly to the schools and orphanages where they will be used by the children. If you are outside the Atlanta area and would like to participate in this project, email us, and we will put you in touch with mission teams that can coordinate collection with you. CAMPBELL'SŪ
SOUPS LABELS We are collecting soup labels for missions and ministries in areas like Puerto Rico. The Campbell's company uses the labels for marketing information, and in return allows the schools and orphanages to trade in labels for needed items and materials. GENERAL MILLSŪ BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION We are also collecting the Box Tops for Education on General MillsŪ Cereal Boxes. This program works basically like the Campbell'sŪ program. KROGER COMMITMENT CARDS The Delane Foundation is requesting that you continue to use your Kroger Commitment cards in any metro Atlanta stores. The funds collected are used for Deaf Scholarships. If you are in need of a card or more information, please contact Paula Ellerbee. SUNDAY SCHOOL MATERIALS We need your used Sunday School pictures, posters, coloring books/sheets and flannel board pictures. Many of the countries we serve do not use English as their native language. Printed materials are not as helpful as the pictures as the missionaries and ministries must translate the English into their own language. This is not cost effective. They can always use more visuals. |
