Mrs. DeeAnn Harmon
....
is married to Al Harmon and the mother of three daughters: Victoria
(17), Caroline (14) and Alissa (4).
On June 2, 2008, Al and DeeAnn will celebrate 23 years of
marriage. She attends Harvest Point Methodist in McDonough, Georgia. Saved by God's grace at 6 years old, and called into Deaf
ministry work at 17 years old, she is actively involved in Deaf ministry at home
and around the world.
She has been a teacher of the Deaf in South Carolina (3 years) and
in Georgia (20
years). Deaf Harvest International, Inc. began in 1997 after she revised the "Lord, Teach Us to Pray" Bible study
materials
for the Deaf. In 1999, she returned home from two mission trips to
Jamaica. God revived a desire in her heart to network with ministries and pray
for Deaf Missionaries all over the world. She believes it is necessary for
all Christian denominations to network together to reach the global Deaf Harvest for our
Lord. DeeAnn completed the "Prayer Walking" Bible
Study in May, 2001 after God used the Prayer of Jabez to "expand her
territory". (See 1 Chronicles 4:9-10) She is
working on the next Bible Study "Lessons from the Holy Land", which
discusses the life of Christ from a Jewish viewpoint.
DeeAnn is currently working as a teacher of Deaf/ Hard-of-Hearing
students in Henry County schools, a speaker for
Deaf ministry workshops, and webmaster
for Deaf Harvest International, Inc. She gives God the glory and honor for all He
has accomplished through her and this ministry.
